 General Forum Rules
1. This is first and foremost a friendly place to be. All members must be respectful of others at all times. While heated debates may occur and will be considered, insulting, degrading, and offensive remarks will be removed, and the offending member will be warned about their actions. Continuous disrespect to other members or to the site itself will result in posting privileges being revoked.
2. Profanity is generally not allowed. Basically, if you can hear it on your standard wrestling show without censorship, it will be fine. A word filter has been implemented for the more profane terms, and will be edited as required. Use discretion, as this is a family board, and underage children may be viewing.
This includes the posting of profane or vulgar images, both in the forums and in personal profiles.
3. Trolling, post padding, and spamming are not allowed. In an effort to maintain a fun, friendly environment, any posts with the sole intent to anger or upset other members, senseless posts that add nothing to the conversation, and posts with no purpose other than to spam the forum will be removed. Furthermore, it is asked that threads stay on topic. A thread that goes too far off topic will have a moderator request that discussion return to the topic at hand. Failing this, a thread will either be split into two threads, or locked, at a moderator's discretion.
4. The privacy of fellow board members is a priority. Personal information such as home addreses, phone numbers, and email addresses may not be posted without the permission of the member whose information is being given out. Any abuse of this should be reported immediately to a site administrator. Furthermore, all information entered during registration will remain private, and we will not share this information with any third party.
5. No posts will be allowed of an illegal nature. That means you may not post copywrited material, such as pictures or video, without permission.
6. Any images used on the boards should not be oversized. If it produces a horizontal scroll bar, then we ask that you resize the picture. Furthermore, we have disallowed images to be used in sig lines. This rule is designed with the express purpose of keeping the forums looking neat and tidy, and to allow ease of viewing of threads.
7. As wrestling is a scripted show, results may sometimes be leaked before an event happens. Please be aware that some members do not appreciate 'spoilers'. Any spoiler threads must be indicated as such in the thread title without giving away the spoiler itself. Concerning TV and PPV events, results will only be considered spoilers up until the time it airs. Members are to understand they risk reading spoilers if they enter threads about a show that has been aired. No silly rules about waiting a day to post results, as most people who have seen a show will prefer to discuss it immediately while it is fresh in their minds.
8. We will strive to be fair to all, but from time to time, a moderator and/or admin will need to step in. If a moderator/admin makes a decision, we ask that all members respect such decision. If a member disagrees with such decision, they are free to ask questions, and an answer will be provided. If it is determined that a moderator decision was made in error, or poor judgment was used, the site admins may overturn it. No member will be reprimanded, spoken down to, or otherwise 'punished' for questioning a moderator decision, as long as the discussion remains civil and respectful. If a disagreement still exists, we ask that further discussion be taken to PM's, to reduce unnecessary site drama. However, generally speaking, the admins will support moderator decisions, and the decision of an admin will normally be final.
9. There are some items that will not be actual rules, but are considered forum etiquette. Please strive to adhere to the following requests, in order to make for a more pleasant experience here for all. Posting in all capitals is the forum equivalent of shouting. Please refrain from posting in this manner whenever possible. Try not to overuse the quote feature. If you are replying to a specific portion of someone else's post, quote only the portion you are replying to. Finally, while we agree that English may not be a strong point for all members, especially for those who use it as a second language, we do ask that whenever possible members strive to use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
10. In an extreme case, a suspension or even a ban may be required. It is our deepest wish that this is never used on a member, but if there is no other recourse, these are the steps and rules concerning suspensions/bannings. Members acting outside the forum rules will have their actions brought to their attention by a moderator/admin, with the request to bring their forum habits to an acceptable level. Failing this, and depending on the severity of the issue, suspensions will be handed out, with each incident lasting progressively longer, until it is determined the member is deemed not compatible with our forum rules, and a full ban is implemented. Any member serving a suspension and/or ban will have all forum activity revoked, at which time their username, email, and IP address will all be disallowed on the forum. A member under suspension who circumvents it will be given a stiffer punishment, up to and including a full ban. Furthermore, if it is discovered any member has assisted a suspended/banned member in accessing the site by allowing them the use of their account will have their account suspended and/or banned as well. Suspensions/bannings will not be handed out lightly, so we insist that they be adhered to when utilized.
